Crombies of Edinburgh

Traditional butcher based in Edinburgh, not far from the Waverley station. One of the best haggis in Scotland!

Very good meat, but you should go there for the excellent haggis, which can be brought back home, as they "vacpack" it, which is fine to travel in your luggage on a plane. Beware: if you're flying from the UK to the EU, the current regulations forbid you from travelling with meat products. You should check the legislation applicable to your case before putting them in your bag.

ppVery good range of sausages, some recipes can be found all year round (like the Whisky, Hog & Wild Thyme or the Pork & Caramelised Onion), some are created just for a special event: there's usually a special recipe for each rugby or football (yes we're in Europe, so it's not soccer...) world cup, but also for the 6 nations tournament, with the "6 nations sausage", one ingredient per nation participating in the tournament.

The shop is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9.00 to 18.00.

The range of sausages available increases quite dramatically from Thursday to Saturday. On Monday, a special discount is offered for the sausages prepared on Saturday but not sold.

Capital of Scotland, Edinburgh has a lot to offer: architecture, culture, stunning landscapes. We're lucky to travel there at least once a year as one of our clients requires the presence of the team in their offices.

Pub on Broughton Street, close to the Waverley train station and Princes Street. Nice atmosphere and a lot of options for beer lovers.
